Ana DaSilva is a former Board Member of South Central Los Angeles Regional Center (SCLARC) as well as a parent of a consumer. Mrs. DaSilva has helped further the mission of our regional center in providing the highest quality services possible to persons diagnosed with a developmental disability and their families. Shehas used her advocacy skills for the betterment of the agency and its stakeholders by assisting in shaping policy and procedures while avidly promoting self-advocacy so that persons with developmental disabilities find their own voices.

Ana is very committed to the issues of autism, parent support and advocacy. She is also dedicated to educating her community about developmental disabilities and has helped countless other parents and community members become aware of issues affecting individuals with special needs as well as the services provided by the regional center system. It is her spirit of community activism, in part, that previously led her to become a member of South Central Los Angeles Regional Center's board of directors. And it is her dedication to serving families that has led her back.
