	As an agency, SCLARC is charged with the critical tasks of raising awareness about the challenges that people with developmental disabilities face, the services that SCLARC provides and developing creative and innovative programs in order to realize our mission. Our goal is to provide quality services for our consumers and their families, enabling each to lead fuller, richer lives. We also seek to educate the larger community about the issues impacting individuals with developmental disabilities. We invite the community to join us as we form a circle of support around our consumers and their families. The impact of this support is a rippling effect that will elevate, uplift and empower the spirits, hearts and minds of people with developmental disabilities residing in our service area. Moreover, this support helps to shatter any preconceived notions held by those in the mainstream about persons with developmental disabilities.
