Dr. Anissa McNeil

Dr. Anissa McNeil hopes to use her extensive background in speech and language to bring the needs of people with developmental disabilities to the broader community. Having received a Doctorate in the field of Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine, Ms. McNeil also holds a Master of Arts in Education from Point Loma Nasarene University and a Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from California State University Fullerton. Dr. McNeil completed her undergraduate degree at California State University, Los Angeles where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communicative Disorders.s
Dr. McNeil held top positions in the field of Special Education for the past six years. She has been the Director of Special Education for the Elementary and High School Districts in Santa Barbara; was an instructor for UCLA’s Extension Program, a Special Language Pathologist for Fullerton’s Joint Union High School District and a Disabilities Consultant for Baldwin Park Unified School District. It should also be mentioned that Dr. McNeil has served as a board member of the Southern California Mentoring Program for four years and is a court-appointed Special Advocate for children.
A proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., and dedicated community activist, Dr. McNeil is an added asset to the SCLARC Board of Directors. |
