Karen Washington is a long-time SCLARC consumer who has been a member of the Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC) for over a year. Before joining the CAC, Karen was an active member of the Braille Institute Student Committee for three years, where she served as Secretary.  When not advocating on behalf of those diagnosed with a developmental disability, Karen enjoys spending time with her husband Eugene and both are very active members of their church.
