Marsha D. Mitchell-Bray is the Director of Community Services & Family Supports for South Central Los Angeles Regional Center (SCLARC). Her division is comprised of the Community Services Department, Community Relations, Fair Hearing and the Family Resource Center. Each department within her division is responsible for interfacing with SCLARC’s stakeholders—staff, families, as well as SCLARC’s more than 900 service providers who assist and support the agency’s 10,400 consumers.

Prior to her promotion in April of 2010, Ms. Mitchell worked to expand two of SCLARC’s priority initiatives--Community Relations and Housing Development. With a grant from the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), she spearheaded the creation of Friends Housing Inc., a non-profit support organization for the regional center that focuses on finding safe, affordable housing for consumers.
