Jesse Rocha

Jesse Rocha began his career with SCLARC in 1997 as a Service Coordinator and worked in that capacity until 2003. It was then that Mr. Rocha was promoted to the position of Fair Hearings & Complaints Coordinator which he held until 2004. As Fair Hearings Coordinator, he held informal mediations; met mandated time frames for responding to hearing requests and informed staff of legislation as it pertains to the developmentally disabled population. In 2004, Mr. Rocha was promoted again; this time to the position of Program Manager working in the Department of Children and Adult Services.






As a Program Manager, Mr. Rocha supervised a staff of 15 service coordinators, assigned caseloads, and coordinated the activities of staff members in providing case management services to assist consumers/families. He also facilitated individual and/or group planning meetings to analyze case management trends and trained new employees. In addition to all of these duties, Jesse was very instrumental to the strategic planning and implementation of the Virtual Chart system, a new computer program designed to improve efficiencies in regional centers' case management.

Most recently promoted to the ranks of Assistant Director, Mr. Rocha will be responsible for the supervision of four case management units as well as oversee the administrative and clinical consultation aspects of the department. Jesse will handle diagnostic assessments, coordinate special projects and interface with other agencies. He will also work in close contact with SCLARC's Leadership team in order to facilitate the daily operations of the department in meeting compliance with state governmental entities.
