Paul Schroeder
Dr. Paul Schroeder is the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Administration for South Central L. A. Regional Center (SCLARC) whose career spans over 25 years of accomplishment and experience in organizational leadership, management and administration in the professional services, entertainment and health and human services sectors of the economy. He has held diverse positions which include Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Executive Director, Director of Administration, Controller, and Human Resource Director.
In his roles of CFO and Director of Administration, Dr. Schroeder is responsible for keeping the executive director informed regarding fiscal and program operations. He reviews cost of delivery and service quality, and oversees and directs budgeting, audits, accounting, purchasing, real estate, and insurance activities for the organization. Dr. Paul, as he is fondly known as, also provides and/or directs procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper fiscal and accounting records in order to afford the agency adequate accounting controls.
With a staff of 28, Dr. Schroeder is able to remain informed about current financial, administrative, and information technology trends in the field of developmental disabilities and interprets the impact of these trends to the Executive Director, Board of Directors, staff, consumers and their families, and the general public. He holds a Doctor of Education (Ed. D.) degree in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University. received his Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA) degree from California State University at Northridge and his Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) from Pepperdine University (Magna Cum Laude).
