Renett Clough
Board Member
Ms. Clough has an extensive, nine-year background in family assistance services which covers case management, special education and early intervention. Renett has worked as a Case Manager, Family Service Worker, Eligibility Interviewer as well as a Customer Service Representative. Currently, she serves as a grade level chairperson at Frederick Douglass Academy Elementary School. In this role, she facilitates parent information meetings and acts as a liaison between parents and school personnel.
Ms. Clough attended the State University Long Beach where she studied psychology and Africana studies. She completed an advocate training program with the California Black Women’s Health Project and was certified in grant writing. As a parent of a five-year-old son who received early intervention services through South Central Los Angeles Regional Center, Ms. Clough believes her personal experiences offers a unique and valuable view point to the SCLARC board of directors. |
